When you go through the state return, you can enter the information necessary for 1040N-EB on the screen titled Property Tax or other Nebraska Credits. Scroll down to Purchase of a Nebraska Residence in a Designated Extremely Blighted Area Credit and click Start.
Beginning in 2020, a nonrefundable credit against the Nebraska income tax, in the amount of $5,000 shall be allowed to any individual who purchases a residence during the taxable year if such residence:
* Is located within an area that has been declared an extremely blighted area under section 2 of the act, and
* Is the individual's primary residence, and
* Was not purchased from a family member of the individual or a family member of the individual's spouse.
