What happens if my state taxes has been accepted but I received an email saying it has been changed?

    wouldn't trust an email.   you should get a notification in the mail.    in the meantime you can call your state's dept of revenue to check on this change.  get the phone number from its website.    some states also have a feature on their website which allows you to check your refund.
