How do I enter SSNs for KY efile?

I too am getting the same result.  I have no dependent care expenses / deductions on my return.  TurboTax has a bug to fix.

This is something that TurboTax is addressing.  Take a look at the following TurboTax article and click the button inside the article to enter your email address so that you can be notified when an update has been released.

I’m getting the same message!  Looks like a software/system error.  Turbo needs to fix but not sure when….hopefully soon.

There is a known problem with some KY returns asking for SSN or EINs. Our team is working to resolve an error message in some Kentucky state returns which is asking for an EIN for a dependent care provider.  Please sign up for notifications in this TurboTax Help article.

The web says this is a known BUG in TurboTax that they did not fix!

Its Monday 2/7/2022 and I STILL have the same issue as every other Kentuckian.

I am using the PREMIUM pc edition.

When is the estimated time to a fix for this BUG?

Same problem here! So do we just wait for a fix to file? Or maybe try a different filing software..?

How about we all start calling to demand refunds.  This doesn't seem like a difficult issue to solve by technical support.  There has to be some linkage between the state and federal and dependent care that should be fixed quickly.  Why is this taking days and not hours?

I caved and went ahead and filed my state refund through the mail. I know it will take longer but I need my taxes to be done and over with so... Just thought id let you all know its still an effective option if you have some stamps lying around, but I understand there are some that don't have that kind of time.

The problem has been solved! We can now e-file Kentucky state taxes!! I couldn't yesterday but today I did. 

TIP: if it doesn't go through on the computer, try your phone that's how I got mine to work 🙂
