I recently finished my taxes but on my profile it states State tax ready to be mailed but when I try to open the file it won’t let me and I have no idea how to file them or where to mail them.

Florida does not levy a state individual income tax.
You do not need to print and mail anything to the State of Florida.
The Florida return in TurboTax is only for reporting tangible personal property used in connection with a Florida-located business or rental and is filed with the county property appraiser's office.
Elect to skip the return for Florida. If you did not choose to skip the return, and cannot delete it, you can ignore the return (i.e., do not print and mail the return).
I accidentally submitted my Florida state taxes instead of skipping this option. Will this prevent me from receiving my refund unless I mail them something regarding the state of Florida?
No it will not. The IRS and FL state tax agencies operate as two separate tax entities so what the refund from the IRS is not dependent on your FL state return. You can track the status of your IRS refund by clicking here: https://www.irs.gov/refunds
Florida - Where is the 1040 report ? - I will need this next year and for the future. Specially in different states like NY.
God bless, you ! best response i came across so far. I do need to know , do they generate 1040 report ? For other states i will need it.
The 1040 is your federal tax return. FL does not have a state tax.Yes, you do want to keep a copy of your 1040 return. You can log into your account and print it out. We will keep it for 10 years for you.
The federal and states do share information with each other. If a state requires the federal, we send it with the state return.
Hello so basically if I filed i don't have to send them anything? I also filed for my 2020 Florida Tax Return by mistake and they told me to mail them but I'm not getting any refunds from this... So i'm confused? I can just ignore it and not mail them anything?
Will I owe IRS money for this mistake?
Florida does not have a state income tax. You may have to file a DR-405 with the county property appraiser by April 1, if you own a business, farm or rental property with tangible personal property. For additional information, please visit the Florida Department of Revenue.
You can delete the state return before paying if you don't have to file.
How do I delete my state return in TurboTax Online ...
I already filed them so I can't delete it. I shouldn't mail anything then?
For additional information on the tangible personal property tax in Florida, visit your county property appraiser's web site (link below), not the Department of Revenue.

@chelly2323 No, you do not have to mail anything to the state. The Florida return in TurboTax cannot be e-filed through TurboTax in any event so you do not have to be concerned with having it in your tax file.
So even though I can just ignore it, turbo tax charged me $30 to file state taxes? Please help!
