E-filed Amended NY State Return

In January 2023, I amended my federal and state (NY) tax returns for the year 2021 on Turbotax. The instructions asked me to send the federal one by mail while the NY one was stated as being e-filed. I didn't get a confirmation or any other notice from NY state. It doesn't show up in my account on the NY Tax website either. Is there a way to check whether the amended return was transmitted? Or should I mail a paper copy?

You need to mail it. You cannot e-file a 2021 return, original or amended. If you did not mail it, it was not sent to the state.
