I have used TurboTax Home & Business for years and have had to sadly print and mail form 568 to file it. This year TurboTax Home & Business telling me it will e-file form 568 for single member LLCs that are disregarded. Sure enough, according to the supported forms, this appears to be true:

According to the 568 guidelines by the California FTB a disregarded single member LLC "is required to complete Form 568, Side 1, Side 2, Side 3, Side 7 (Schedule IW)". I notice in the list of supported forms, rentals in put in parenthesis. For example, "Form 568, Limited Liability Co. Return of Income, Sides 1-3 (Rentals)" is listed as supported for e-file. I am therefore wondering if TurboTax Home & Business will only e-file form 568 if a single member LLC is in the rental business.
Finally, when I ask TurboTax Home & Business to print all forms, I notice form 568 is not included. Given the past history of form 568 not being e-filed and the other issues I just mentioned, I am wondering if TurboTax Home & Business will actually e-file form 568 for all disregarded single member LLCs.

I recently contacted the California FTB and they informed me they have no record of form 568 and to send them a copy. Therefore, it appears from 568 was never e-filed. I will be mailing my form 568 to the FTB instead as I have no choice.
