I get an error message that shows the box where I need to correct a payer's MN state tax ID number. The incorrect number is all in blue, but I cannot add the correct number or delete the entry. I'm in this endless loop. I've gone to the MN form, and the same thing happens. I cannot make the correction.
Can you help?

A full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax, so sometimes you need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files).
Here are the official instructions for the most popular browsers:
Apple's official support site doesn't appear to contain instructions for clearing the cache in Safari. Your best bet is to search the Internet for clear Safari cache or similar search terms.
Thanks for your response. I followed instructions and the problem persists. To be more specific, It is in Schedule M1W1, Line 2B, where it asks for the seven-digit MN Tax ID number. Any other suggestions?
Again thanks.
Go back to the W2 entry in the federal taxes section and check the Box 15- you may want to re-enter here.
Every year it is the same BS. My employer ID number is correct and it keeps pulling back saying I need to correct it on Both Fed and State. Clearly you can't figure it out for MN... What is the issue?!
The MN in the employer ID is entered on the Federal line 15 and needs to be removed so the number matches when you try to finalize.
Thanks for getting me there!
Here I am for the 3rd or 4th year in a row, being pissed off about this!!!!!
FML!
FIGURE YOUR **bleep** OUT! I was able to correct this by ignoring the State Fix Error button. the Fed is f'd up with an MN in front of the Company ID number. It doesn't show that way if you correct State first. (It shows it without the MN, but it's still wrong with you try to finish.)
Fix this.
