CA State individual: How do I know if I have owned any CFC stock?

On the "Other Interest and Dividends" page, found in the section about where CA handles income differently than the Fed, it mentions "Dividends earned from ... (CFC) in Federal income" and "Dividends distributed from CFC not in Federal income." How would I know if I owned a CFC last year? I did own some foreign securities so...
