2016 multistate return download

I am preparing 2016 tax returns. I downloaded my free state (Mass.) but I keep getting error an message when I try to download the non-res states of RI and VT. 

Any help would be appreciated!

2016 is no longer supported by Turbotax - neither federal nor state. your choices are to prepare the returns manually or see a pro that usually can prepare 2016 returns

Some competing tax software might still have 2016 federal and state available. Shop around.

You will not be able to e-file 2016 tax returns under any circumstances, not even with a tax professional. The IRS doesn't allow e-filing that far back. The 2016 tax returns will all have to be filed by mail.

And... be aware that even if the 2016 tax returns show refunds, you are too late to get those refunds.   You forfeited the refunds by filing too late.   If you owe tax due though, you still have to pay the tax, and you will be subject to interest and penalties.
