Simply put, you purchased the second state program so that you could prepare and file your tax return for that state, right?
No one here in the forum can see your return(s), or contact you by phone. In order to specify only a portion of your income for a state, the user must "allocate" income to that state. Sometimes that can get pretty complicated.
