I'm having issues when I run the review on my Colorado return. It says I have an issue with DR1366 line 88. I have nothing to enter on this line. A zero appears in the box, but it won't let me delete the zero to see if that will fix it. How do I fix this?

Re-open your Colorado interview in TurboTax. Proceed forward until you come to a screen with the heading "Take a look at Colorado credits and taxes".
Scroll down and click on Start (or Revisit) for "Enterprise Zone Credits".
On the next screen "Select All Enterprise Zone Credits That Apply", did you check any of the boxes? If you did, go through the interview again when you hit continue, and clear any fields that are not supposed to have any entries.
If you didn't check any of the Enterprise Zone Credit lines, then I suggest you delete DR1366.
To do that, please do:
*** Desktop***
1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select the desired form. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.
*** Online ***
1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form
2. delete form(s) DR 1366 (if one) under Colorado
3. Continue with your return (unless you actually had an Enterprise Zone Credit in which case you will have to go back and add it in.
Colorado Form DR1366 line 88. A zero is entered in that box. I have tried overiding with .00 as it should be and will not fix it. I also reopened the CO interview and looked at the Colorado credits and taxes and revisited the
"Enterprise Zone Credit" and went through the interview again and still didn't fix it. I then went to Forms and deleted the Form DR1366 and started the interview again and in the review it still says there is a problem with line 88 on Form DR1366. I am to electronic file my Colorado return and am unable because of this problem.
I tried all of the above and the problem is still not fixed??
I am having the same exact issue. The field that is zero should be zero, but it won't let me proceed. I have tried both clearing all the checkboxes and fully deleting the form and starting over, but each time I end up with the same error. Guessing this is a bug in the software, please fix.
Same problem as other with line 88 on Colorado Form 1366. The suggested fix does not work. TurboTax needs to fix.
At his point if you have done all you can, then the only option for you is to print and mail your return.
On the Colorado return review, Form DR1366 line 88 should be 0 and is 0, but the review says there is a problem that needs to be fixed before filing.
I have tried the fix that BillM223, turbo tax expert, suggested and it does not work. Another turbo tax expert said if this doesn't fix the problem that the CO return should be printed and mailed. Colorado says if you are filing this form the return needs to be electronically filed.
So, can this Colorado return be mailed rather than electronically filed??
According to Co gov website, attach the DR 1366 schedule and any supporting documentation to your paper return. HOWEVER, the Department strongly recommends electronic filing for taxpayers with enterprise zone credits. If you can't file electronically, then you are permitted to mail the return with the DR 1366 attached.
Question . Has anyone e-filed their Colorado return , and had it accepted , despite having this so-called error ? Any feedback would be appreciated.
I e-filed my Colorado return Feb. 23 with the supposed error, and it was accepted. I verified that 0 was entered on lines 5 and 88 of DR 1366.
Yes, I ignored the error message and electronically file my return. Colorado processed it and I have received my refund.
I ran into this problem also. I printed the Colorado return from Turbotax even though it has an "error." I went to
Colorado Revenue Online https://www.colorado.gov/revenueonline/_/ and entered all the data from the paper return. I had two DR0075EZ Forms so deleting the Form 1366 was not a choice. Colorado forms with DR0075EZ must be e-filed! I was able to attach the forms, and file successfully. The bug in Turbotax is in Line 88 Form 1366 but it is not a bug on the Colorado site. Best of all I did not have to pay the $19.95 electronic filing fee that Turbotax charges.
You cannot print and mail the return if you have any Enterprise Zone Credits. It must be efiled either through the State or through Turbotax (which has a bug).
Intuit gets two demerits for this: (1) for not fixing this obvious error and (2) having an error message that doesn't tell you how to *fix* the problem. Infuriating! It's like a Microsoft "help" message - absolutely correct, and absolutely no help.
I'm going to mark it Override and go ahead and file, and since I'm e-filing it should be fine.
