In checking my return Turbo tax keeps trying to get me to fill in fields in a portion of the K-1 that does not apply to me. I do not wish to take any QBI amounts on my K-1. Statement A-QBI Pass-through entity reporting should be simply empty, but Turbotax will not allow it, nor can i simply file my return. I'm stuck. How do I over-ride or get this completed?

Can you clarify why you do not want to add an eligible deduction to your pass-through information that would result in a reduction of personal tax owed?
Frankly, I don't understand it, wanted to keep things simple, figured it wouldn't amount to much anyway. Will trying to figure that out actually solve my problem?
I went back and checked, I have completed all the state forms. But still when I try to file my return Turbotax wants to check the state forms again. I review them, find no errors. Wash, rinse, repeat...same result...stuck. Is there a way to override?
If you use the Forms option on your menu bar, you should see a red mark next to the forms that are creating problems, and you can pull up those forms to see the problem areas highlighted in red. Then you can make your corrections.
I am familiar with the Forms View. There are no red marks. Just double checked. Any other thoughts? Thanks.
It is possible that you are trying to file forms that have not yet been approved for filing. There's a link below to the different state forms and when they will be released. If any of these forms are in your return they could be keeping your state return from being filed. If so, file your federal return and come back later to file your state return.
State form availability for TurboTax.
Form is up to date.
