I have three identical looking copies named Federal Filing copy, DC state reference copy and DC filing copy in my DC W-2. Which one should be attached with my D-40B?

Please file the DC filing copy of your Form W-2 with your DC income tax return if you are filing by mail.

The federal filing copy would be filed with your federal tax return if you are filing by mail.
