TurboTax (Download) requires I complete direct deposit/bank account to continue eFile process. I don't care to pay twice.

To clarify, what do you mean by paying twice? Clarify paying MN Dept of Rev with credit?
Thank you for your reply, and sorry for any confusion in my question.
Taxes are done. Efiling. Paying online. MN state tax (not our state of residence, we have rental real estate there) is owed. TurboTax has a link to the MN DOR where one has the option to pay by credit card, which I did. Printed the receipt, etc.
When I resume the eFile process there is no recognition by the software that it has been paid. Therefore it is funneling me through "pay online or pay by check" by completing req'd fields.
If left blank I get re-directed to correct the empty fields. And if I enter info into the empty fields, TurboTax will be asking either for online payment via TurboTax or indicating a paper check will be sent to MN.
So stuck. Or risk paying twice (minus any confidence I could recoup the overpayment).
Does this help?
I got impatient and 'double paid'. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, Rusty
When you select pay by check, it just eliminates payment information from the return so that paying online is an option. The wording could be better there.
Wow...I'll say!
Thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.
