I moved to Nevada in November 2020 from Hawaii. I understand that Hawaii will still take out state income tax for the remaining calendar year for prior residents. But come 2021, I was still having Hawaii state taxes taken out. The blunder turned out to be my company's fault, because their payroll department still had my Hawaii address in their system, even though my pay stubs had my Nevada address. How do I file for those Hawaii state taxes that were taken out?

If your income is sourced in Hawaii, then you need to file a HI nonresident return. If the income is not sourced in HI, file a nonresident return to claim your refund.
Got it. So in Turbo Tax, when I get to the State Tax portion and I try to file a nonresident form, it automatically gives me Hawaii Nonresident Tax Return( N-15 form), so how do I select the nonresident form.
You want to file the nonresident N-15 return. Be sure to allocate zero wages to Hawaii to get the withholding refunded. @Bboyunltd808
