Why does TurboTax NOT give me a personal exemption on my Ohio income taxes? I am a 22 year old college student at school full time out of state, but still an Ohio resident. My parents COULD claim me as a dependent, but will NOT CLAIM ME AS A DEPENDENT for 2022 taxes. The Ohio 2022 IT 1040 instruction booklet make no mention about whether I COULD be claimed as a dependent.
Ohio allows an exemption for the following:
● You, if not claimed as a dependent on another person’s return;
