Not sure if my IL state tax return is correct

I am quite sure that Turbotax is reporting my IL state tax return incorrect despite me entering correct information in on my end. Last year I started a new job remotely at the beginning of August for a company based in California (I was unemployed for this job). I moved from IL to CA mid to late August so there was only 1 month out of 2020 where I worked while living in IL. That said, my IL tax return is very high for having just worked remotely in the state for a month. I believe the amount I owe to IL is assuming I worked and lived in IL from Aug through the end of the year. Can I verify this with someone from Turbotax and get it fixed?

Not sure if my IL state tax return is correct

Illinois has a flat tax of 4.95%. The easy way to verify your Illinois tax is to multiply you one month of income times 4.95%. Illinois also has a personal exemption that will be subtracted from your income, but multiplying one month of income tax 4.95% will give you a ballpark estimated if your return is correct.

To correctly complete you return, you will have to allocate the Illinois portion of your California wages on your Illinois return.

Thanks Ernie! Do you know if this would still warrant a schedule CR as TurboTax provided ?
