I was Informed via letter that my state tax was incompletely filed...

A letter from where? The state? Did you e-file it or mail it? TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS or your state after you file your self-prepared tax return so no one at TT knows what the state is saying to you. What does the letter say? When you prepare a return using TurboTax the information flows from the federal return to the state return. Does the state say you left out some information?
