@Gmen4life Yeah I managed to figure out the exact amount I needed to input for the missing trade and added it to the Wash Sale amount and checked off both boxes and it came out to the same gain as if I had imported it automatically. After that I was able to go through all the motions and files fed and state. Already got the email back that Federal was accepted. Thank you again, I was pulling my hair out 🤣
Hey,
Similarly to everyone else here I have been having issues submitting the NJ-DOP form. I was on customer service with a TT customer service member and we still had no luck. I see a lot of people are saying to delete the state return but I can't find that option.
I use a Mac browser version off of the TT website. There was no option to go to 'forms' and delete it from there. Did anyone else figure it out on the browser version?
@johnpuch So find my post in here and follow those directions. As far as deleting the state go to “add another state option” then you should be able to see your state and then hit edit or the 3 dots next to it and erase it. Don’t bother with TT customer service they don’t know. This has been a glitch for years with them. This is my work around with it and I always get accepted.
@johnpuch I spoke with customer service as well and the "9 year expert" was fairly clueless. She said she opened an investigation and linked my account to it and we hung up. 10 minutes after the call I got an email stating my case was closed 🙄
@Frank51281 Np Frank! I am glad you got it done and I was of help!
I've had no such luck with the DOP schedule. It keeps freezing and getting stuck.
Anyone find a fix for this for TT online? I already submitted my federal return and now my state return is being held up by this error. I'd rather not redo all my 1099-B's
Thanks a lot. This seems to be the best solution until they fix this problem. I followed the steps you mentioned and finally was able to finalize my taxes online.
How do you still file if the error comes up 🤷

If the federal forms are all finalized and it is ready to e-file, you can choose to file just the federal return at this time, then come back when your state forms are ready and e-file that return.
Note, if you don't e-file them together, you do have to wait until the federal is accepted before you can e-file the state. Sometimes this takes a day or even two.
Here is a TurboTax Help article with directions for when you return to file your state return.
File State after the Federal is Filed
I don’t know how to get my filing number please help
@Itsmine1976 Please clarify - what filing number are you looking for? And for what reason?
I have this NJ BAIT pass through credit and am getting the same message, but NJ DOES ACCEPT e-file with this credit. It must be a Turbo Tax problem and needs to be corrected.
There was a recent New Jersey update that may be affecting you.
If you're using TurboTax Desktop, make sure your program is updated (Online menu at top).
If you're using TurboTax Online, you can try closing the program, clear your Cache and
