Just completed all the steps for NJ tax return. TurboTax included the $1000 dependent attending college exemption (line 12) however I don't think I qualify. My daughter was a full-time student spring, 2019 and graduated in May. She turned 22 in 2019 and one of the qualifications for the exemption is "Student must be under age 22 on the last day of the tax year (born 1998 or later)". Is there an error and the $1000 exemption should be removed?

You are correct, the student must be under age 22 at the end of the tax year to qualify for the additional $1,000 exemption for a student. Are you certain that you entered her birthday correctly in the federal information section of TurboTax? The instructions say the student must have been born in 1998 or later for a 2019 tax return.
Thanks ThomasM125. I just checked the federal section and I entered my daughter's birthday correctly. In fact there's a field in the Dependent Wks where it has "age as of 12-31-2019" . It has "22". It appears TurboTax should not have given me this exemption.
OK, I suggest you contact TurboTax and have an agent look at your return to find out why you are getting the exemption. They can secure a diagnostic copy of your tax return if necessary to provide a resolution to your issue. You can find ways to contact TurboTax by using this link:
