My school district tax withholding is not being recognized even though I've enter it as directed. Worried it's not reflecting on my state taxes correctly.

How do I get it to be recognized?

More clarification is needed to answer this question: What state are you in? Did you have withholdings of school tax on your W-2?

I am in Ohio, the Ross School District.  I have withholding on my W-2.  I have entered 0908 in box 20.

If you are getting a w2 error, return to your w2 and enter SD 0908 in box 20. The program let's you know if there is a problem while you are going through the school district form. Please follow these steps:

1. Open your return
2. Edit Ohio
3. Go to Other Situations
4. Select school district taxes
5. Be sure to enter 4 digits for the code.
6. Go through the section answering questions. Eventually, if the w2 is not correct, the screen will show school district and big red words saying to correct the w2. Otherwise, you zoom through.

TurboTax (TT) does not automatically prepare a School District return, you must initiate it.

At the screen, in the Ohio program, titled  "A few things before we wrap up your state taxes"
      scroll down to School District taxes. 
Or later at the screen  "Your 2021 Ohio Taxes are ready for us to check"
    -Click Other situations
    -Scroll down to School District taxes.
