Multiple State tax filing

The company I work for is located in SC. My company deducted SC income taxes from my earnings, however, I live in NC. Which state tax do I file first?

Enter your non-resident state first, then enter your state of residence. This will give TurboTax the opportunity to calculate your South Carolina taxes, then bring those taxes back to your North Carolina return as a credit for taxes paid to other states.
