My situation is that I went to college in State A (Connecticut) where I had a part time job but was still a dependent, with a Virginia address.
I graduated during the pandemic and moved home to State B (Virginia) where I was still a dependent, and had another part time job.
I have since moved to State C (Massachusetts) in the second half of the year, where I now have a full time job.
In terms of trying to figure out which State taxes to file -- I'm definitely filing for Massachusetts, but do I still need to file for Connecticut or Virginia since I was a dependent? I also never technically lived in Connecticut since my address has always been in Virginia. Thoughts?

It depends which states (A and B)- each state has a filing threshold so depending how much you made working par-time, you may not need to file. If you add the states in this thread, someone here can check the requirements for you!
Thanks so much! I didn't make enough in either of my part-time jobs to warrant filing, but I was just generally confused about how being a dependent could play a role in all of this.
