Hello,
I heard that MA still allows a moving tax deduction.
In my case, I moved to Texas from Massachusetts for new job in 2020.
Is this deduction available in case someone moved out from MA? or Is this deduction only available in case someone moved in MA?
Could I put the relocation cost in [MA Amount]? or should I put 0 as I moved out from MA?
Thank you very much in advance.

In order to qualify for the MA moving expense deduction, the move must relate to employment or business income that is subject to Massachusetts tax. Since your moves relates to a new job in another state in which your income will not be subject to MA taxation, you do not qualify to take the deduction.
