Hi, so cliffs:
Moved from CA to WA in the first half of the year. I have income earned while in CA (1xW2), and income earned while living in WA (1xW2). I've told Turbotax I have nothing in the state income boxes for the WA based W2, but for some reason, it's placed this income on the CA tax return. Am I missing on how to edit this so I only pay CA taxes on the job I worked at in CA? Do I do this at the very end or is there a checkbox I'm missing somewhere? Sorry, searched, and couldn't find a good anwer.

You will be able to split your income in the California section. TurboTax will ask you how much of your federal income was earned in CA. Make the adjustment there.
Keep going in California until you reach Nonresident Adjustments.
The next screen will show your total W-2 income. Enter your CA amount here.
California computes it's tax rate for part-year residents on total income earned everywhere, so your California Adjusted Gross Income will include your Washington wages to figure the base tax rate on all income.
Once the base tax is figured, your actual state tax will be the California percentage of the total tax. You will see this calculation on lines 31 to 38 of Form 540NR.

This solved my issue, BUT with a caveat I'll add for other people who find this: Even though I changed my address, I had imported a previous year return AND opted to turn on the state after completing the personal info. What happened was that even though my address was in WA, there was a dropdown on the personal info that said I was a resident of CA. Once I changed THAT to WA, I was able to find the nonresident adjustments. BTW thanks so much for the help!
