Missouri State Form

The K-1 is entered under my wife on the Federal Form.

The K-1 amount is in the spouse column on Form MO-1040 Adjusted Gross Income Worksheet. Which is correct.

It is in the Taxpayer Column on MO_CR Credit for taxes paid to other states. On that form it is not able to be changed. I can enter it under spouse but can not remove it from taxpayer.

How do I correct this?

You need to correct the K-1 on the Federal tax return.  Then it will flow correctly to the state tax return.

At Federal / Wages & Income / S-corps, Partnerships and Trusts / Schedule K-1, click Edit/Add.

At the screen K-1 Summary, click Edit.

At the screen Is This Information Correct?, click No.

At the screen Enter Identification Information, you you are allowed to designate which spouse owns the K-1.

I can't seem to get this across.  The K-1 is entered correctly in the Federal Section, it is correctly under spouse in all of the forms.  It is correctly under spouse on one of the Missouri Forms, Adjusted Gross Income Worksheet.  It is wrong under the Missouri Form Taxes Paid to other States.

This did not help.  The K-1 is correctly input in the Federal Form.  I checked in the Forms" view and it is correctly listed under spouse.  It is also correctly shown in some of the Missouri forms.  It is not correct in the Missouri Credit for Taxes Paid to other states form.  The Missouri forms have only been available for two weeks.  There appears to be a bug in the form.

@rhmarw - Possibly.  However give it a few more days to allow for proper programming by TurboTax.  It is quite the process especially since there are so many states with forms to be updated.

Checkou this states Forms availability link:  States Forms Availability Link

Keep in mind:

  • It takes some time to incorporate state forms into TurboTax. While they may be available from your state on a given date, we need a few days to make the forms available for use in TurboTax.
  • When you locate your form or schedule, there will be dates for both Print and (depending on the state and the form) E-file availability. If the E-file form is listed as unsupported, the form must be printed and you'll need to mail your return.
  • Forms and schedules missing from the table aren't supported in TurboTax.
