according to Missouri state government website (https://dor.mo.gov/military/income-deduction-information.html) the current year deduction is 40 percent. The turbo TAX MACbook software says i only get 20 percent. which is incorrect.

State software programs for 2021 are not ready yet----wait for the software updates that should occur during January. You cannot e-file yet. The IRS will not begin to accept e-files until about the end of January so you have time.
Software updated and did not reflect the change I requested to be reviewed. Did you guys even look at the software issue I mentioned?
Thank you.

Thank you for pointing this out. We (TurboTax) are checking on it. The print copy of Missouri MO-1040 instructions have a slight typo and that may have gotten carried over to the software.
Please be patient while the investigation is made.
I will update you via this thread when I get an answer.
Awesome. Thank you very much
I dont think the calulation is correct. Played with the number and did some math and it seems it set at 30 percent and should be at 40 percent.
You are correct @pureflie. As Champ @xmasbaby0 says, the Missouri program is not final in TurboTax, The target date is February 10. You can check the state of Missouri at Missouri Individual Form Availability.
Maybe you guys should do an update to the software because it updated yesterday and will let you submit your missouri state return. So if I didn't known the tax law I would of submitted my state return with it being wrong. So you really can't say the forms are not ready when your software says other wise.
