Minnesota Tax Rebate

Turbotax is asking me to upgrade to enter the 1099 - misc for the minnesota tax rebate. The only other document for the return is the W-2. Does this mean I have to pay to file a return just to enter the rebate?

Yes, you will have to upgrade TurboTax to report your MN tax rebate. The TurboTax Free Edition only covers a 1040 tax return with limited credits. It doesn't include Schedule 1, where your MN tax rebate is reported on.
