Military State taxes - Oklahoma

I am currently active duty military stationed in Oklahoma. My state of legal residence is also Oklahoma. On my W-2, it shows nothing held out for state taxes. I have heard that active duty military members with a state of legal residence in Oklahoma don't have to pay state taxes. Like I said, nothing was withheld for OK on any of my LES's and my W-2 is blank for state withholding. Is this correct, or do I owe state taxes?

Military State taxes - Oklahoma

Yes, you are correct.

According to the OK Department of Revenue;

Oklahoma residents who are members of any component of the Armed Services may exclude 100% of their active military pay, including Reserve & National Guard pay, to the extent such pay is included in the Federal Adjusted Gross Income.

Just make sure that you are letting the TurboTax system know that you are on active military duty.

If necessary , you may need to edit your personal information under the Personal Info tab (for TurboTax Online sign-in, click Here) to let the TurboTax system know that you are in the U.S. Armed Forces.

You will need to make sure that you select yes -"I am a member or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces (active, reserve or National Guard)" (screenshot)
