Massachusetts Schedule B Error: Requires Adjustment Not Yet Finalized

Same issue, but I was able to e-file my Federal return and select File Later or whatever for MA.  It seems like we might just be able to select File by Mail and print/mail it in if this doesn't get resolved?

Massachusetts Schedule B Error: Requires Adjustment Not Yet Finalized

I'm having the exact same issue - I spent an hour and forty minutes on the phone with someone who tried to fix it with me and ended up telling me I might need to buy the live chat option of turbotax. I won't do that since it seems like everyone else has this issue too. I tried calling their customer service to get an eta on when it will be fixed by, but got hung up on three times in a row before I had the chance to say anything (after waiting 15-25 mins on hold each to get through). Feeling pretty frustrated with turbotax right now to say the least! All I really want is an acknowledgement from them that they're working on it and a rough idea of when it will get fixed by.

Having the same issue here. If anyone has a work around can you please share?!

I've spoken to Turbo Tax 3 times, each time they say the "upcoming patch will correct the error message". TurboTax suggested I file my federal separate but I can't delete my state return to do that. Super frustrating. I saw someone say a new patch is coming 2/24 - hopefully that does it but I'm losing hope and patience.

@Okirby

There are a few workarounds that have been posted. Go back to the beginning of this chain of responses.  Scroll though and you should find them. If you can’t, let me know and I’ll be more specific on where to look. Hopefully this will be fixed soon and you won’t need a workaround.

Massachusetts Schedule B Error: Requires Adjustment Not Yet Finalized

I had to  split and upload 35 separate CSV files with <100 transactions to get it to work.

I used CSV Splitter: https://www.erdconcepts.com/dbtoolbox/csvsplitter/csvsplitter.zip from https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37386246/split-large-csv-file-and-keep-header-in-each-part

UPDATE: Splitting let me get past the review process, but I could not E-File due to a transmit error.  They have no clue what's going on.

Massachusetts Schedule B Error: Requires Adjustment Not Yet Finalized

Unfortunately my issue isn’t caused by a csv but what I can imagine is  the large # of transactions imported from my broker’s 1099-b

I don’t think I can do anything about that so just have to hold out hope for a fix.

Yep same issue. I used Robinhood so I do not have CVS to import, I did have a lot of transactions.

Same here. I do not have CSVs to import. Turbotax imported my 1099-B's from my brokers, so it's not going to be viable to split the transactions up. If I need to be typing hundreds of transactions by hand in, I don't need to be paying for Turbotax.

I'm super happy I found this thread - I almost paid a friend who does taxes to go over my returns to see what was wrong after I already paid $100+ to file through Turbotax. I'm hoping this patch is legit because I tried the CSV workaround and it wants me to go through 300+ transactions manually to click "I paid for them" on a drop down and I'm NOT trying to spend three hours doing this. I've gotta say I'm super disappointed in TurboTax over this as I haven't had any luck getting a response on why this was happening. Maybe they should spend more money on making sure their software works and less money lobbying to keep tax season a cluster**bleep** for everyone.

@JFerreira281 agreed!! It always comes down to how these corporations can make the most money. Fingers crossed this patch works out later this week.

Same issue here 😑

Large number of transactions from options trading and no response from Turbotax Twitter support and was put on hold for 45 min+ before I just hung up.  Intuit-- please fix this!

Exactly the same problem - I've contacted TurboTax support on twitter with the details and a link to this thread, I'll update if I hear back.

Yeh, I paid TurboTax close to 200$ and now waiting, possibly will have to file by paper.

An accountant charges the same and I would not worry about this. I think next year I will go with a live accountant. This is insane. This issue has been going on for weeks and there is no fix.

I was able to e-file just federal and was accepted until this Mass return issue fixed.
