MA Form 1 error Fiscal year invalid

I am not filing by fiscal year, but may have erroneously clicked on start date.  The field is shaded, despite no visible entry.  Turbotax says error invalid start date. How can I clear out the contents of that box?  (I am using 2022 turbotax deluxe desktop cd version for windows.)
