Unable to access and enter data into Minnesota M1PR. Button show up to skip directly to the return, but just goes to the State Review. Also when pulling the form up, I am not able to enter necessary data.

I have noticed this year that lines 2 and 5 seem to be disqualifying more people. By the time you add Social Security and all the other non-taxable income, it can push people over the edge. This may be the year that you tipped over the non-qualifying threshold for the property credit.
See page 8, 2022 M1PR, Homestead Credit Refund (for Homeowners) and Renter’s Property Tax Refund Instructions.
If you can pull up the form, I believe you are using desktop and can do an override in one section and switch to step by step to complete the form. Then be sure to cancel any overrides in the Forms mode.
Qualified homeowners can file online with MN, see Filing for a Property Tax Refund.
That is not the issue. I can open the form manually (yes in desktop), but it will not allow direct updates. In the step-by-step, I click on the Skip to Property Tax and application goes directly to Let's Review your state return.
Let's start at the beginning. In the MN return, can you click on Take me to Property Tax Refund? If you select continue, it goes to the state return.
You must select to go to the Property Tax Refund. From there you continue through answering questions and fill in the property tax statement. In Forms mode it is Prop Tax Stmt.
Another method, in Forms mode, if you can't fill in the information, right click and data source. Once you data source to the beginning piece of data, fill in a number and switch to step-by-step to complete the process. Then cancel any overrides in Forms mode.
Please reply if you need more help.
Once I click the "Take me to Property Tax Refund", it takes me to the "Ready to Review Your State Return" page:
If you allow TurboTax to continue with reviewing the state return, does a prompt come up to check for Other Forms You May Need? This could include the Property Tax Refund form.
In the alternative, you could choose to delete the Minnesota state return and run it again. You might want to save your Federal return again before deleting the state, just to be sure the correct information is carried over.
Here's how to delete a state return in the TurboTax for Windows CD/Download software:
See this help article for more information.
Thanks for the advice, but it didn't work. I removed the state return and started it over. Once I came to the end of the state return, chose the MN Property Tax (radio box), and clicked continue, it takes me straight to the review page. It is not allowing me to enter data for the property tax return.
I have given up on TurboTax and this form. Last year it was asking for the wrong info so I used the state online form instead - It was very easy and took no time. I tried to use turbotax this year and the form is so convoluted I decided to go back to the state online form again. I actually came here for help because I could not remove it form the interview. Thanks though I used your idea to delete the whole state and that solved my problem.
Anyway, I highly recommend you not attempt to use Turbo Tax for this form (maybe ever)
The state online system is for homeowners only but here it is https://www.revenue.state.mn.us/filing-property-tax-refund
