Louisiana just passed a tax on hybrid and electric vehicles, effective with the 2023 tax year. The annual tax is $60 for hybrids, $120 for electric vehicles, with each prorated for partial-year ownership. Louisiana Tax Form IT540, Line 22b, asks whether you own these types of vehicles. TurboTax has checked the "No" box, and does not allow you to change the answer. Checking the "Yes" box is NOT ALLOWED BY TURBOTAX,and this situation should be corrected. There is a Schedule required to file this tax (Schedule R19000A) in which you list your hybrid or electric vehicles, VIN, and date of purchase. You can get this form and the instructions at https://revenue.louisiana.gov/Forms/ForIndividuals; go to "General Forms." You can fill out this form and pay your tax online or by mail, but NOT within TurboTax. TurboTax should allow a "Yes" answer to Line 22b and make Schedule R19000A available within TurboTax. Until this happens, we have to answer "No" and send in the Form R19000 (which includes Schedule R19000A) and the tax payment separately, either online or by mail.

When I go through the Louisiana interview (both desktop and Online), I see the screen below. No "YES/NO", just enter a dollar amount from a user-completed Schedule R19000A.
As you probably have noticed, TurboTax does not support the Schedule R19000A. But if you got a copy of the form and completed it and got a dollar amount you can put it here.
You obviously are seeing something completely different.
Can you take a screen shot (with no personally identifiable information) and post it here so we can see what you are seeing?
