K1 and NC-K1

Why does the necessary info of my Fed 1040 and K1 not flow to the NC-K1 (North Carolina)

Businesses that file Federal Schedule K-1s with income earned in NC are required to file the appropriate business tax return and issue a separate NC K-1 to its partners/shareholders/members.  You should have received one from the same issuer as the federal K-1.  If you did not receive it, you need to contact the company and have them forward yours to you.

You will then need to enter the information from that form into your NC state filing interview process in TurboTax.
