Is money earned from working the election poll taxable?

I worked the election polls and was paid, no w2 or 1099, is this reportable/taxable income?

Compensation paid for election worker services is included in income, and may be subject to income tax and FICA taxes as well as reporting requirements.

I live in NJ. I worked most of the year in NJ, but worked 2 months in NYC. My taxable income for NY includes both my NY and NJ income. This Correct?
