This year I worked part of the year in a different state so I received 3 w2s. One from each state and the 3rd was just state taxes. It is not letting me e-file now.

When I tried to e-file it said I can't because one of my w2s had wages less than $1.  This was the w2 with only state taxes and also stated that my federal wages was less than state wages.  I am not sure I am filling out correctly as I purchased the additional state but it is still not letting me e-file.

if you work for the same employer  but in different states, then a employer will send you a W-2 with the federal total earnings and showing one state; then  they will also send  you a second W-2. showing only the second state amount. In such a case, in TurboTax, you enter the whole thing as one W-2 with two state entries.  Is this your situation ??

Yes, so in this case I can combine the w2 with only state taxes into the other form and just add a 2nd state line?
