If terrible tax made me mail-in my state and I never received anything expecting money band I paid for all of the extra stuff covered me .What do I do

TurboTax receives no information from the IRS or your state after you file your return, whether you e-file or file by mail.   Once you file your return, it is between you and the IRS or you and the state.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.  Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.
