If you are a Colorado resident, you will report all of your earnings on your Colorado resident return from the date you became a resident, including the earnings while working remotely for a Texas employer. If you haven't already, you should submit a completed Colorado Form DR 0004 to your Texas employer so that they can withhold Colorado taxes from your pay.

Thanks for the help. I do have state taxes taken out so everything seems fine there. The issue is that my employer doesn't have a state id. It doesn't seem to allow me to not enter one though
Your employer needs a Colorado state ID number if they are withholding Colorado state tax on your W-2. Ask your employer for a number.
