If I live in Virginia and work in DC, and my W2 only says Virginia, should I file DC tax?

I work in DC but live in Virginia. I know VA and DC have reciprocity act, but my W2 only says Virginia. Does this mean that my employer (in DC) did not withhold taxes from DC? Therefore I do not need to file DC taxes, is this correct?

Yes, if your employer did not withhold Dc taxes, you do not have to file a DC return this year.

Virginia and DC have a reciprocity agreement- this means if you live in one state/district and work in the reciprocal state/district you only have to report/pay to your resident state/district if the withholding was taken for the resident state.
