If the only income you received from CA was unemployment, then no, you do not need to file a CA tax return. CA does not tax unemployment. And.....you now live (and work?) in FL, which has no state income tax.
Your unemployment is taxable on your federal return. You will need to enter the 1099G from CA on your federal tax return. If CA does not mail the 1099G to you, you will need to go on the unemployment website and use the same log in etc that you have been using to certify for benefits to get your 1099G.
Enter your 1099G in Federal>Wages & Income>Unemployment
Go through the screens very carefully, making sure to enter any federal/state tax you had withheld from the unemployment.
