@devendrad22 Does "I stay in GA" mean that you live in GA with your spouse? But you work in SC? You need to prepare a non-resident return for your income earned in SC first, and then prepare a GA return since that is where you live.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I live in GA with my spouse. I used to work in SC but then my work location was updated to GA mid-way through the year. Hence I have two W2s, SC W2 for first part of the year and GA W2 for second part of the year. So, if I file SC as a non-resident first, do I still file GA as a full time resident or part time resident? FYI - Turbo Tax automatically detected I have two W2s hence distributed my earnings between both states (Is this wrong and should I updated that to file SC first like you suggest?). Please let me know the filing status for GA - full time or part time?
Thanks,
Devendra
Sounds like you were a full-time GA resident and worked part of the year in SC. Based on what you are saying here, you did not live in SC at all---you worked there for part of the year.
