I receive a CalPers pension and live in California. Do I have to pay California state tax?

I am a retiree. I receive a pension from the State of California (CalPers). I live in California. Federal income ta was withheld, but state income tax withholding is zero.

Newly retired..my pension took out taxes first year automatic like I thought would always happen then the next year no taxes came out sent us a w-4p after the fact ?
