I need help with state returns

I originally had a refund for Mississippi and Alabama. I made an amendment to add Louisiana then I decided not to. Once I canceled Louisiana, my Mississippi and Alabama both say $0 for refund now

When you selected amend my return, it likely decided to amend all of your returns.

To fix this, you will need to delete the amended forms.  If you are in the desktop version simply switch to forms mode and delete any form.  For Mississippi, the amended is directly on the regular form as a box checked at the top of the page. 

If you are using the online version you may be able to find an amendment worksheet or statement for X form which will allow you to remove the amended status and return to your original state by doing the following:

1. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
2. On the drop-down select Tools
3. On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form 
4. This will show all of the forms in your return 
5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete 
6. Select the Form 
7. Click on Delete. 

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.
