Please provide a little more information.  In this public forum we do not have access to your tax return nor your account.  We might be able to assist with a description of the error code you are receiving, as well as the state in question.  You also may be served by filing an extension or by mailing in a return that you are having difficulty e-filing.  But, with additional information, we might be able to help you resolve it on time.

And this is always something to try if you haven't already done so:  How to Clear Cache and Cookies

I'm not getting an error code: I get an "Oops we seem to have hit a snag" screen. Using MacOS and Safari. Have cleared cookies with app Cookie and cleared caches with Onyx. Seeking to file NY State as well as Federal. Tried reviewing Federal and State returns as was suggested with no effect.

I'm going to reach out to @macuser_22.  He may be able to provide a bit more insight with tons of experience dealing with Mac issues.

I can't really help with that other then suggest that you try a different browser like Firefox others.

Possibly your computer is having trouble with the internet connection.  A restart might help.
