I'm a IL resident and worked in CA for the summer. TurboTax says I get a CA tax refund and pay IL taxes, but why does the summary section just show that I owe IL?

The summary section doesn't always report all the details.

The final test of whether your tax return is reporting accurately is to look at the return itself. You have that option in the Windows edition. Click on the Forms icon at the top of the page to view the tax forms (click on the image below). If you do not see the refund on the California tax return, then you should be concerned.
