I live in TX and will start working in MI next week. Am I eligible to pay state tax in MI in 2017 for the 3 weeks working there? Or I can claim exemption? Thanks

Michigan's law is that non-residents must pay Michigan income tax on all income earned in Michigan.

**Answers are correct to the best of my ability but do not constitute tax or legal advice.
