I accidentally clicked on something stating that I needed to file for my state's (Florida) tax returns even though I do not have a reason to file for state taxes...

Since I am being asked to print out items to file by mail, could you possibly walk me through what exactly I need to print in order to avoid any mistakes in my overall filing for 2016? As I've stated, I don't qualify for any state returns and this is accidental, I just want to simple submit whatever state documents are required in order to properly file.

Florida does not have a state individual income tax. You do not need to submit anything to the state; nothing is required.

The Florida return in TurboTax is to report tangible personal property that is used in a Florida-located business or rental property and is filed with the county property appraiser. You should have been presented with the opportunity to skip the Florida return entirely if you had no tangible personal property to report.

If you proceeded past the warning screens, try deleting the Florida return --> https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900608
