I have turbotax premier and i have and issue i have 2 state one maryland and delaware i only the federal and maryland but for some reason it is including delaware

have turbotas premier and i have and issue i have 2 state one maryland and the other delaware i only the federal and maryland but for some reason it is including delaware which is not need for this return i have it for another tax retrun thanks i have turbotax premier

Did you have any Delaware income? TurboTax may be adding DE for a few reasons:

• You lived in Delaware for any part of 2020
• You told TurboTax you made money in a state other than Maryland and added Delaware
• You had Delaware tax withheld on a W-2
• You had a rental property or did business in Delaware

You can delete Delaware if you did not do not need to file there.

• Click State on TurboTax Online in the left column
• Click Your State Returns at the top
• Click Delete next to Delaware
