I don't know why I can't file the States Fax

What happens when you try to e-file the state?  First---if you mailed the federal return, you cannot e-file the state; if you mailed your federal return then you also have to mail your state return.  Or is your state return being rejected?  Or are you getting an error message of some sort?  Remember--we cannot see your screen or your tax return--we only know what you tell us.
