How do i find my school district number? ohio

I live in Mad river local school district. Mine is not listed so I called the schools to get it. It will not let me enter that number of 5706 what do I do

If you are looking for Milwaukee, you can go to 2019 SCHOOL DISTRICTS BY TAX DISTRICT.  @josh50stang

If you meant Ohio, you can look up your school district number at School District Income Tax.

I used the Ohio School District code finder and it returned 3101 for zip code [social security number removed].  Yet TurboTax says that code is invalid when I run Smart Check.  What do I do now?

The reason this error might appear is either because School District 3101 is not a taxable district.

I could not locate School District Number 3101 on the Summary of School District Income Tax Election Results. Districts that are taxed at a 0% rate are not listed.

If your school district is listed at a 0% tax rate, you do not have to file a school district return. 

To remove a school district tax return, please follow these steps:

1. Open your tax return.
2. Click on Tools.
3. Click on Delete a Form. 
4. Scroll down to your state forms and look for the school district form you need to remove and click Delete.

There are a lot of misleading answers to this question out there.  If you did a purge of all of them and just tagged this answer to those threads somehow, you would save yourselves a lot of trouble IMHO.
